I want to get better. I want to be the best person I can be. But it is so hard to push myself to do these things. And if I were to explain literally any part of this to anyone who doesn't have ADHD they'd look at me like I'm nuts. ADHD IS a disability and Ableism fucking sucks.

Executive dysfunction sounds like pure laziness until you're the one sitting in a computer chair for two hours having binged Extra History videos while simultaneously being stressed about the work tasks you haven't done instead of just doing them.

The thing I hate most about ADHD symptoms is that they sound absolutely fake until you're the one dealing with them. Being held accountable for a mistake in my work SHOULD make me want to fix the mistake, but it INSTEAD makes me want to give up and do literally anything but that.
