Loving this new Infinity Nikki update

I may have promised my XIV raid group that I'd record an audio narration of a chapter from a spicy book and post it on the internet if we clear M4S tonight....

.... and now we're very close to clearing this fight.... 😮‍💨

“Learn what you can. Use what you learn. You have not failed yet.”

A really nice quick read this week. I love a good fairy tale retelling, and this one of 'Sleeping Beauty' ticks the boxes for me by giving it a simple fey twist.

"Silver in the Wood" was a wonderful novella exploring the budding connection between a centuries-old Green Man and a young nobleman with a fancy for folklore.

Roughly 112 pages, but I could have easily read another 300. I can't wait to read the next book in the Greenhollow Duology.

“It was a dangerous thing, mistaking relaxation for boredom.”

This was a nice cozy read to start the year with--perfectly comfortable adventure. I'm interested to see how the story develops in 'A Pirate's Life for Tea'.

This scene from “Your Lie in April” still never fails to take me out.

I don't think I'm going to make it through my re-read of The Stormlight Archive before "Wind and Truth" releases.... but I'm gonna try

“Find the balance. Accept the pain, but don’t accept that you deserved it.”

So far, January has been pretty productive with the reading goal. 3/18 down for the year already.

Next up, "Yumi and the Nightmare Painter" by Brandon Sanderson, to get caught up on that sweet Cosmere goodness.

TW: Loss

My dad unexpectedly passed away a month ago today. I know I have to keep going, but grief is making it hard to be present. It's a process, with life and work, and getting back into a routine. I'm thankful I have a great support network I've been able to lean on. All I need now is time.

The Wheel of Time...... turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

My toxic trait is wanting to read more than 20 books a year, and all of the books are close to 1000 pages long.

My top 25 games, in no particular order! topsters.org

The problem.. I'm sure there's plenty of games I've forgotten because they are not within 5 ft of my person to look at

Catch me brewing up one shots and campaign ideas so I'm not having to completely gut or rework D&D to make this happen. Already pre-ordered.

I absolutely loved Sea of Stars. Couldn't stop playing it, and then I ended up just getting close enough to platinum. Now it's on to NG+ with a certain relic turned on
