Haven't used any model since. No reason to. You won't be "left behind" as those who have a huge financial stake in your using these apps would tell you.
What WILL be left behind though with using these models, is your own synaptic pathways of reason and experience in the process of learning.

At that moment I became uninterested in using the tech any longer. I knew (and was told endlessly) that the accuracy would improve, sharpened, etc but I understood that at its core, this mediocrity-machine would never be able to understand anything only convey the image of understanding.

It suddenly made total sense: this was an averaging machine. It was spinning flowery sentences about harmonies and melodies without the actual foundational knowledge to make those sentences actually mean something, it was just generalizing and in the process literally saying nothing.

With perfect syntax it proceeded to give me the equivalent of a college freshman's reply on an exam that had been crammed for just the night before.
It used all the pertinent language but spun falsehoods, generalizations, bromides and equivocations along with that hallmark glib wrap-up

It's a subtle and precarious game these frauds play and through every betrayal, ever deference to power they inevitably cede (remember your stumping for Genocide Joe, AOC?), they inevitably reveal themselves to be defenders of the extant material order that really are.

The "oligarchs" are really bad capitalists, as they, like Trump, overstep the "normal" cruelty and violence baked into and normalized in this prison of wage labor, and act too brazenly. For AOC/Bernie their crimes are an excess of theft, making the material injustice of the system too obvious.

It's also why I cringed all through the 2000s when liberals complained about "crony capitalism," although this infinitely Just and Good system with theft at its material basis was being ruined by people who were concerned with maximizing profit!
