My Republican cousin surprisingly watched the Super Bowl from Mexico (she’s on vacation), and complained about the Half Time Show sucking. I don’t know what snarky reply I should give.

I’m feeling optimistic making myself a priority this year. Finally going to stop sacrificing my time and mental health to a toxic work environment . Changing your narrative does wonders for the soul.

The last day of the year always brings me frustration and shame over the goals I ignored all year. Here’s to making a real change next year.

I’m a hardcore workaholic. This wasn’t a big deal when I was behind a desk. Working in healthcare means I run the serious risk of burn out and/or injuring myself. I’m trying to figure out a balance.

Since joining the healthcare community as a profession, I can see how people join the anti-vax movement. Some of these professionals mess up big, and it’s not a secret who’s good at their jobs.

After listening to Stuff You Should Know’s podcast episode on ADD/ADHD, I’ve realized that I’m one of those undiagnosed adults. It’s all I can think about now.

Sometimes holidays make me feel sad. Sad for the people I miss. But I’m always thankful for the people who are still here, and the memories I get to make and keep with me.

I wish I had my curly to straight hair knowledge in my 20s when it counted. The youth really is wasted on the youth.
