What a difference one year can make 💚
The women of AMARNO, an Indigenous group in the Amazon, saw the plants and seeds they used for their traditional jewellery were disappearing around them. So, we helped to grow a nursery to revive endangered plants and to protect the future of their craft.

Over the last week, our partners CARE Ashaninka have been organising deliveries to those impacted by recent Amazon floods.
8.5 tonnes of essential supplies, like food, bedding and mosquito nets have been delivered to several communities whose homes, farms, and villages have suffered severe damage.

Since 2007, we've provided unconditional cash to rainforest communities, trusting Indigenous peoples to decide what's best. Whether it's safe drinking water or improving buildings, this support empowers people to invest in their livelihoods without needing to sell their land to meet basic needs. 🌍💚
