I can see that. To call a book/movie The Shining but only mention it like 2-3 times is a bit wild haha I agree the psychological aspect is a lot more terrifying because it is so real. Sure ghosts are spooky but real life crazy humans… THAT’s terrifying.

I haven’t read The Shining but thoroughly enjoyed Dr Sleep. While reading, I got curious and looked up the differences between The Shining novel and movie. The movie, although amazing in many ways, seems to have lowkey ruined the book and the character of Johnny. What do you think?
