The possible replacements will continue until morale improves...
There are a lot of videos, but this is the one I bookmarked after also being enraged some years ago. 😂

I did some gardening work yesterday and only lost my large pruning shears with the neon orange handles three times. New record!

There could be a badger somewhere. Lurking. Can't be too careful. ❤️

Same, and I am so frustrated. This should be perfect! Instead I've realized that even with the new inhaler for the headache/nausea, I need to buy a much bigger air filter for work because I'm losing against 1980's ventilation and eyes should not itch like that. 😣

It was late 80's but we weren't allowed to be in the front yard without mom present, or in the backyard if mom was not home and watching (despite a 6' privacy fence and aggressively protective 60lb dog). It wasn't the only reason no one came to my house, but it sure didn't help in the friends dept.

Yeah. There are bigger reasons why I am angry about climate change, but the porch, garden and patio were on the list of reasons I loved my house. I was so excited for moderate temps these next few days, and then... damnit. Again. 😞

It is a good time for masks-- expected to get worse and could last through Saturday. (In related news I have an inhaler prescription now. 😣)

I am still annoyed with my required economics classes. We spent three weeks pricing a TV but never discussed student loans, taxes, insurance, or credit scores. We budgeted but only for a family of 4 with a mortgage (whatever that was). The "home" part was solid, but ec was a missed opportunity. 😣

I know it was like that already, but it feels like COVID just made it so much worse. We couldn't even be with our dying loved ones let alone gather for funerals. And there's just... never been a moment to catch up and process. 😣

A friend was a bit high on painkillers from surgery recovery and told me he lived at the intersection of two streets that run parallel to each other. I drove around looking for that intersection for a solid two hours before giving up on bringing him sympathy snacks (because no DoorDash either).

Lo and behold... (if you've seen already I apologize, I'm losing track of threads today!)

I beg my reps to understand that every law they pass will be read and used in the most aggressive way possible to get the result the reader wants. Not reasonable-- possible. And what a bunch of those readers want is for certain people to not exist, let alone be able to do things like vote.

Accurate. If my family had moved left to the degree of the average TV ad, they'd be democrats by now...

I think they're still killing de minimis so "good" is... relative.

Thank you! And apparently my state has the distinction of losses for all of the past five years. That explains that. 😣

I think they genuinely don't understand how our courts interact with other branches of government. Or at least from prior experience they can't connect SCOTUS deciding what the second amendment means to why we can't keep decent gun control laws, either.
