Catching up: More work in progress… block 2 of a 3 colour reduction linocut print. I love mixing colours and that’s a pretty eye-catching red. I love how it shows up slightly varied on different papers. Can’t wait to see it change again next to the 3rd colour. 😍

The printmaking studio is one of the few places I can go and know that the vibes are always gonna be supportive and good no matter what is going on in the world. It’s a solace, for sure.

On nature and oneness [E. Tolle, “A New Earth”]

Only if we are still enough inside and the noise of thinking subsides can we become aware that there is a hidden harmony here, a sacredness, a higher order in which everything has its perfect place and could not be other than what it is and the way it is.
The mind is more comfortable in a landscaped park because it has been planned through and thought; it has not grown organically. There is an order here that the mind can understand. In the forest, there is an incomprehensible order that to the mind looks like chaos. It is beyond the mental categories of good and bad. You cannot understand it through thought, but you can sense it when you let go of thought, become still and alert, and don't try to understand or explain. Only then can you be aware of the sacredness of the forest. As soon as you sense that hidden harmony, that sacredness, you realize you are not separate from it, and when you realize that, you become a conscious participant in it. In this way, nature can help you become realigned with the wholeness of life.

As #Garbage fans, we’ve been WELL FED especially over the last 10 years. Between #recordstoreday, album anniversaries and incredible new albums we have been lucky.
Braved frostbite in a RSD queue yesterday and it was worth it for Copy/Paste … an album of reimagined covers. Love My Way is 😘 🫠

I love horror in general, but I’m not a huge zombie movie lover with the exception of the Night of the Living Dead and Shaun of the Dead. However, I really loved Japanese horror One Cut of the Dead … highly recommend! So good. It’s best to go in not knowing anything so don’t look it up …spoilers.
