Oh no, that was not what I was trying to say, I was just trying to say in the US most people won't have insurance unless they get it with their job, while in Australia, it seems much more common for somebody to pay for private health insurance themselves.

I mean on the cheaper front US usually get insurance as part of job not paying separately but on covers more, my family's HBF plan covers quite a lot.

Very fair, though medicare won't cover as much until you gain citizenship. Private health insurace here is cheaper though and generally covers more.
