Sad so many believed the propaganda from the far right that the European Union was “oppressive” to national identity. Now the far right is building a movement across Europe, aided by far right and dark money from the US. Is that not oppressive? People are about to find out what real oppression is.

There are hard core leftists in/from the Middle East? Genuinely interested in learning more and seeing your factual support because this is truly baffling. I thought the Middle East had a largely conservative culture🤔🤷

They’re refusing to eat to protest the inhumane conditions inside the facility conditions that include filthy living spaces, lack of medical care, overcrowding, and mistreatment by staff. We’ve posted about these issues before, and so have many others.

We lack leaders who will speak truth like this in real life. Great show though - sadly it resonates even more in present times.

Agreed and it’s not only all women. All parent, too. Men are also parents. I know my husband uses and benefits from his workplace flexibility when it comes to helping with his equal share of our child rearing responsibilities.

They are not following any laws or established process - this is the point ppl are making. Not that the gov doesn’t have power, but that they are not exercising it in a lawful and proper manner. Gov is wrong here and I hope all the criminals involved are held responsible by our next democratic gov.

Sure, the government has power to do almost anything against anyone, including a green card holder, but the point of living in a nation where there is the rule of law is that the gov is supposed to follows laws and proper procedures that absolutely do apply to gov actions.

Unlawful. Outrageous. Thank you for reporting on this. I hope lawyers are keeping a list of who to prosecute for all these crimes committed by this current government.
