Bringing up the percentage of trans people in a given population to explain why they should be treated a certain way is not helpful.
You cannot tell if someone is trans by looking at them. The percentage data is self-reported. Being outwardly trans is dangerous. Why would I trust the math?

One of my favorites. I think it explains how people can be so kind (or unkind) to one another.
People who look at themselves with loving-kindness are able to see others with loving-kindness. The inverse is also true.
