I was making tacos & beans. My son asks what’s for dinner. I tell him and then ask the question: “If you have beans, you’ll never…..what?” He says on cue, “I’ll never starve“ and then he grumbles. Versatile, cheap, and filling. It might get us through the next 4 years😉 #mexicanamerican, #resist

I know many have posted on @sanders.senate.gov #fightingoligarchy tour. My thoughts-took my #genz son. It was inspiring with a tb to the 60’s protests/peace rallies. #joanbaez and everyone were great. There were booths to sign up-my son did. Many older and young people. #resist,#fightfascism

Is this what they mean by the “good old days? My dad was a dark brown #Latino and faced racism in jobs, even with DEI. They treated him many times like he was not smart. He went to night school and got a degree at USC. He worked really hard. Can you imagine what’s coming? #resist, #mexicanamerican
