I had forgotten about the whole "pajama boy" ad until I saw this. I went to look up when it had happened and it was 12 years ago. I don't know when he said this but being that angry about a years old ad is a bit unhinged.

I don't understand how someone who has as much influence as you do within the Democratic party can have absolutely no idea what sways elections and how voters think. It's fascinating but obviously very lucrative for you.

The first time I did lunges I couldn't walk for three days. And that was back in high school when I spent a lot of time in the weight room.

My favorite thing about Michelin Star restaurants is that at the resort I worked at the Michelin 3 Star/Forbes 5 Star restaurant barely made a profit and the on property cafe made more in profits than all of the other restaurants combined.

The funniest thing about snobs of any type (music, wine, movies, etc) is that they convince themselves that they get a much deeper enjoyment out of the higher quality stuff but mostly they just ensure they don't enjoy 95% of what gets produced every year. And also it's much more expensive.

Platner's case is not being helped by the fact that everyone supporting him is doing so in bad faith. You can tell it's bad faith because they (you) are lying about why people are mad. They (you) cannot be honest because that would give the game away. Or they're (you're) just incredibly stupid.

I'm pretty sure at some point during this Oliver/Weiss drama I saw a thing she wrote where she said all of her friends stopped talking to her when she went to work for Bari. After seeing this I definitely believe it.

I think that also perfectly captures why the media has zero standards of accountability for the GOP but always expects the Dems to follow the rules and be willing to make concessions in service of bipartisanship.

Absolutely agree. I do have to say it is refreshing to see someone learn new information and update their opinions as opposed to doubling down and yelling at everyone. Have a great (or as great as possible) weekend!

Honestly months ago when people started getting upset I just figured I would go find out when he endorsed Adams and was also surprised to find out he didn't. I tried to search pretty thoroughly but if you find anything please let me know!

Maybe? I think Jeffries is terrible at his job but he didn't officially endorse Eric Adams in the 2021 general election at all (he ranked Adams 2nd in the primary).

When the whole Jeffries endorsement first appeared I did think it was weird of him but then I decided to go see when he endorsed Eric Adams in the 2021 general and he never did. There's plenty to criticize him for but the endorsement thing is such weird inside baseball esp. if one is not from NYC.
