Update on what be going on!
Been a rough year for me and looks like it’s only getting harder! As some of you already know, I broke my tooth on the way to BFC. I was hoping it would be an easy fix but seems like it’s going to be a root canal with a crown. I went to the dentist today and was told it would be around $2,200. But to make things even worse, I got told that there’s a 75% chance my husband Nano and I will have to move in 60 days. Regardless if we don’t have to move suddenly, our rent will be going up by a significant amount (to around $2200-2400). In the likely chance we do have to move, it’ll just put even more financial pain on us. Sadly this likely means I wont be able to see my birth mother for Christmas like I was hoping to. So I’m going to take on emergency commissions. They’ll be done the same way my normal commissions are. Take on 5 at a time starting this coming Monday, with a piece being finished once a day. First slot will be done on Monday, second will be finished on Tuesday, etc. On top of these commissions, I’ll be working on taking commissions in stream a few times a week. The prices will be higher but you will have your piece finished there and then. Hoping to spend the rest of this week finishing what I already owe. It would mean a lot to me if you could spread this around! If you can’t afford a commission but want to donate, I suggest my Subscribe Star. This way you can at least enjoy some art while also helping me out.
