I spot patterns to cope with unfolding chaos. Dignity and equality matter. Dogs > people.
What do you expect from the Appeaser-in-Chief?

Same!

I find it interesting how many in the West are perplexed by Megyn Kelly’s logic here. If you, like me, had the misfortune of hanging around Russians when they speak their language, you’d know that it’s a very common way to frame things in their culture. Coincidence?
Megyn Kelly: People Protest ICE Because They’re Too Ugly To Have Sex
January 19, 2026 at 2:10 PM
“She is ugly/unkempt” and “she doesn’t have sex” is treated as a serious argument even among the liberals. Sadly, mainly (if not only) in relation to women.

Appealing to national safety as a justification for diluting institutions is a classic dictator move

It’s so confusing to read your posts like this for us non-Americans who followed you for your political takes
January 19, 2026 at 10:15 AM
Dictators are predictable to a fault. The repeat the same moves, century after century, country after country.

Who will bring back dead Palestinians, Ukrainians, Nigerians etc? Who will bring back Renee Good and many others murdered by ICE. The damage is irreversible and so is the loss of trust.

That’s why it’s double points for “you are exaggerating” and a break for “this time it’s different” on my Dictator Bingo card
January 18, 2026 at 11:33 PM
I think it’s some new form of American exceptionalism - “this could never happen here”. Yet dictators are so very predictable, they all follow a pattern

Plenty of fascists in Europe too, unfortunately

I have a Dictator Bingo card in my profile and it’s filling up alarmingly quickly.

I just quietly fill my Dictator Bingo card

This is too cute! But as a horse rider I am begging you to put a helmet on the baby…

Referring to self in third person is a sign of progression Dictator Delusion Scale and a tick on my Dictator Bingo
January 18, 2026 at 8:28 PM
That’s quite a few ticks on my Dictator Bingo
January 18, 2026 at 8:26 PM
Bending reality is a classic dictator move. He is not there yet. He’s sure trying.
January 18, 2026 at 8:23 PM
As someone who studies dictators, I am afraid they are always so very predictable.
January 18, 2026 at 8:21 PM
They get you extra points on my Dictator Bingo card.
January 18, 2026 at 7:51 PM
Yes, “you are exaggerating” and “this time it’s different” are the two phrases that enable dictators the most.

More on Levels 7-9 here bsky.app/profile/cont...
In the Dictator Delusion Scale I sketched earlier, Levels 7–9 are where power stops managing reality and starts replacing it.

This is where authoritarianism becomes ontological.

He is progressing in his delusion with an alarming speed. bsky.app/profile/cont...
Only days ago, when I first shared the Dictator Delusion Scale, I (conservatively) thought Donald Trump was at Level 5, pushing toward Level 6.

What’s striking is how quickly that assessment has changed.
