Otherwise, I can understand why gov officials might hesitate to create accounts on platforms they can’t verify their identities on for their constituents.

It’s meant to strengthen the idea of putting country before party.

This seems like an effective option for fighting the constant copyright infringement that American companies go through, and also accounts for guardrails against abuse.
