Step 5: Improve page experience

→ Mobile readability, fast load, clear CTAs

→ AI favors helpful, usable pages

I've used this exact process to revive old posts and turn them into traffic + lead drivers again.

Your old content isn’t dead — it’s just waiting to be structured right.

Step 4: Fix internal links

→ Link to related pages or deeper service content

→ Helps with crawl paths and user engagement

Step 2: Answer it clearly—right after the heading

→ 2–3 lines max. Use simple, scannable language.

→ This helps you show up in AI Overviews and snippets.

Step 3: Add schema markup

→ Use FAQ, How-To, or Article schema to guide AI engines

Step 1: Start with the user’s question

→ Turn your H1 or H2 into a real query

(e.g. “Benefits of solar panels” → “What are the benefits of solar panels?”)

Informational content isn’t just for traffic. It builds trust. It builds familiarity. And it puts your brand in front of people before they search “buy [product].”

Look for these questions in your keyword research — they’re often your easiest way to capture future buyers.

✅ If you sell mattresses: Write content like “why am I waking up with back pain?” Lead readers to the right mattress based on their issue.
✅ If you sell skincare: Cover topics like “why is my skin so dry in winter?” Then guide them to the products that help.

These types of searches signal a problem. And problems often lead to purchases.
✅ If you sell fitness trackers: Create helpful guides that answer these pain points. Position your product as the solution.

Bring your content team into the conversation.
Explain the “why,” not just the “what.”
You’ll get better buy-in and fewer surprises later.

No hacks. No magic.
Just clear thinking and clean structure.

Sometimes it’s as simple as:
✅ Changing a title tag
✅ Setting a redirect
✅ Deciding which page should own a query

Ask yourself:
“What page should be ranking here?”
Then align everything else to support that goal — not compete with it.

Also: don’t do this in isolation.

𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲:

“Best Pots for Snake Plants”

→ Recommend 3–5 options

→ Link directly to product pages

→ Watch your conversions go up

Use tools like Keywords Everywhere to verify demand + difficulty.

No traffic = no ROI.

𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀:

• Specific recommendations

• Strong CTAs

• Links to your product pages

• No fluff

These are people ready to buy, not browse.

𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲:

• Start typing “best houseplants for...”

• Now run through A–Z.

• That’s free buyer intent right there.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲:

Target lower-funnel keywords:

Think:

• “best indoor plant pots”

• “ceramic vs plastic pots”

• “best plant pots for monstera”

Think of your blog as an #SEO bridge between discovery and purchase.

Don’t just write “how-to”

Write with a purpose: To support, surround, and strengthen your product pages.

Authority ≠ traffic.

Authority = trust + relevance + strategic structure.
