This is one of the strangest graves I've come across: the grave of Joseph Adelman, a member of a Jewish community that emigrated to North Dakota. His memorial is a roughly-constructed tin box with his name in English punched into it on one side, and his name written in Hebrew on the other.

Maybe. And is that a bad thing at that point? He was enraged and looking to hurt someone. People like that need to be restrained. Tripping can be part of that restraint.

The original script had the parents being dicks to each other and had some old guy as the boss of the para-psychologist. The medium was supposed to be goofy and childish. So they very purposely crafted a more feminist and loving story.
