Work related: downbanding of specialist roles & disregard for clinical knowledge should not be accepted by AHPs. It is bad for employees & bad for patients.

It's arguable whether the Trauma Rehab Co-ordinator FOR A WHOLE REGION should even be a Band 7 post, let alone Band 6.

Oh my goodness!

Native Instruments have done a great thing.

Some years after seemingly putting Absynth to bed, they've brought it back to life.

Thank you NI! Christmas came early!

Absolutely.

Somebody re-posted this here in the last few days. It's indicative of where Rogan's 'brain' is at.

This week Fri 5th Dec sees the release of this compilation, "Affinity".

Huge thanks to @hartshornmusic.bsky.social at Monochrome Motif Records for organising the project and inviting me to be a part of it, alongside a host of talented musicians.

Late news: Inaugural "Electricity Will Kill You" night in Falmouth Cornwall last night.

Electronic music collective (which grew our if local EMOM nights) bringing the fun, love and beats.

Every set was absolute quality.

Rumours of a next night in February

For example

Given the recent sad news about an iconic member of the UK music community, it was a reminder Meta AI produced this piece of information which I doubt a music journalist would have done

Do favourite musicians not bring real even matter?
Hmm...Jemma Crew & Mark Savage @mrdiscopop.bsky.social If the question were "Does it matter the BBC article you're reading isnt by a real journalist?" with a subtle subtext that a family is losing out on income to AI LLMs,what would your opinion be?

Incredible gig last night.

Henge and Gong joint headlining in #cornwall. So much fun and positivity in the room. Had heard a lot from friends about Kavus Torabi but never seen him play. A total rock star.

Nice to hear the bands enjoyed it, too.

And their mates at the Daily Mail were also in on it.

Also the Telegraph

Honestly, fuck those RW papers, they'll never hold a consistent stance if it means they can just be against something.

I applaud Innocent Smoothies for giving money from each purchase to Age UK and including a little woolly hat on each bottle, but not convinced by the hat on today's purchase. 🥴😂

This climate change scam seems to be being taken very seriously by the global insurance industry. Not sure they're the type to be taken in by a catchy buzz phrase spouted on a political panel show like #BBCQT

Case in point. An email I received from an insurer this week.

Another beauty. Always fun to put on, and The Chauffeur always raises an eyebrow to those not expecting it

The v/oct scaling pots for each osc are under the top black rubber cap in each osc section

Turn Osc1 up
Send output to a tuner for reference
Play a low c
Tune Osc1 to the low C using tuning sliders
Play a high c. The tuner will prob show its sharp/flat
Adjust the scaling pot until high c is in tune

Recalibrating this synth again.

The tuning is so bizarre. Oscillators drifting a few cents out of tune in mid range (still very usable), then +/-20 cents out of tune around C1 and C5.

Heard it was a problem with these reissues but more I read more it might just be a 2600 thing.
