I will likely keep mine for 300k miles or more, but very interested in Rivian’s R2s. They have updates on self driving today sometime.

2018, but same. One alignment. Washer fluid. Tires. The findings are flawed

Fake news. Consumer Reports “survey” 🙄

They are great cars. I have saved so much time and money we bought a second one. Because of Elon, we may not buy another, but they are safe and the most American made car you can buy. EVs are the present and future.

Think about this source. Tesla has a near monopoly on service, so how do they know? They are amazingly reliable and my 7.5-year old M3 isn’t showing any signs of falling apart. I do not trust elon, but they are solid automakers.

They are super reliable. That is fake news. And I hate Elon. Just saying.

HW3 FSD is okay. However FSD on HW4 cars no longer allow custom speed control. This MIGHT be fine is the car knew what the speed limit was, but their mapping data is horrible on speed limits, and it still doesn’t know what to do with “End Speed Zone” signs in rural areas.

I can’t believe they took away a speed control adjustment. Everyone speeds and I’m fine with FSD naturally driving at the speed of traffic or what I set it at. However the big issue is that the car still doesn’t know speed limits. It can’t read signs! It doesn’t know what “end speed zone” means.

Most our driving is on rural highways. FSD is awesome, the others are a nightmare. AP is unusable because of the +5mph limit on speed limits and the posted speed limit doesn’t match the the car thinks. FSD - this isn’t a big issue because you can go faster. My in town usage is good, not great.

You don’t understand how far FSD has improved. AP is a safety nightmare.

We have two teslas, one without FSD and one with FSD. I have been clamoring for this action for over a year. AP and TACC are HORRIBLE and embarrassing. Feature-limited FSD stack is what is needed to replace AP/TACC. I’m glad to hear this news and I hope all will benefit from this improvement.
