Talked to my dad this past weekend. He gave me all the talking points. I tried to share reason to no avail. Will try again.

Carville has not been someone Democrats should take seriously for a long time, and yet....

I'm old enough to remember EDTECHHULK on twitter. These bring back fond memories of a simpler twitter.

It's been 50/50 for the past 10 years. It often votes blue for legislatures but red for executive.

The difficult part with Chromebooks is that I fear it will be all or nothing. There are excellent learning opportunities, but I fear the call will be a pendulum swing rather than a moderated approach.

MI had recently required personal finance. I keep thinking are we going to require an income that allows for an individual to follow the simplest of budgeting rules (50% to needs 30% to wants 20% to savings)?

So harmful to include different people in learning.

Does this count time on a graphing calculator vs time on Desmos or Geogebra? I worry about too much tech, but I also think that there are better tools.

I've been very thankful that on any hiring committees I've been on, the administration listens to the team. There have been two times I can remember where we were in disagreement, admin went with the teachers' pick and it has been wonderful for our district

I know that bad people in any profession can get hired after looking good on paper and nailing the interview.

This is not the case. This is someone who the bossman wants hired and it's going to be the "employees fault" if they aren't successful.

Anytime DB whines I know to think the opposite.

This report shows that the racism has always been here and that steps were taken recently to move the needle.

Mine is very much in formula, we've benefited from the minimum funding amount (our property tax is/was much lower than the $ we get per pupil).

Our leadership is good. I feel our success is building strong ties with our community.
