When I first came across this math back in 1996, there were 400 billionaires in the world and Bill Gates was worth $20 Biillion.

Now there are over 3,000 Billionaires and Bill Gates is worth $118 Billion.

Our governments over the last 30 years have FAILED us all.

If you started saving $1,000 daily at the time of Christ, 2,000 years ago, today you would have two-thirds of a billion dollars. There are over 3,000 people who own more than a billion, including Elon Musk: $342 Billion, Mark Zuckerberg: $216 Billion, Jeff Bezos: $215 billion, Larry Ellison: $192 billion, and Warren Buffett: $154 Billion. Ask yourself, how could they have possibly earned that money in any realistic sense of the term earn? And if they didn’t earn it, who did, and why is it not in their possession?

Well, that would make sense - houses are a helluva lot more expensive today.
A graphic shows that in 1985, median U.S. income was $23,620 and median U.S. sales price for a house was $82,800 while in 2025, median annual U.S. income is $83,150 (an increase of 252%) and median U.S. sales price for a house is $416,900 (an increase of 403%).

According to the CBO, roughly one quarter of the DOD’s budget is for military personnel.

That means we need $17.7 Billion/month. That DOD moved $8 Billion from Research to pay military members on Oct. 15 suggests this calc is close.

Spreadsheet calculation shows 2025 DOD Budget of $848,800,000,000, or a monthly budget of $70,733,000,000. Of that we estimate one quarter goes to Personnel expenses, or $17,683,000,000. To be conservative, we halve that amount and arrive at $8,842,000,000 that we estimate as the monthly payroll for DOD personnel. The Pentagon recently shifted $8,000,000,000 to pay the troops on October 15th, which suggests that this caculation is reasonably correct. In other words, $130,000,000 is a spit in the ocean here!

I'd probably be happy to, but I blocked "them" at some point and @bsky.app is crazy hardcore about it. I wish they'd at least let us view the account on a case-by-case basis, like we could on Twitter.
