if someone's finishing a bunch of cool art, publishing many books, that's dope, good for them! but you don't need to measure yourself with the success of others. it's easier said than done. I doubt myself all the time. but in the end, everyone's going to be different, so fuck it, we ball.

As someone with autism, games have been a safe space for most of my life, because they (mostly) have consistent rules, themes, purposes, & means of *control*. The fog of the world outside is gone and there's only a clear screen between me and the soothing clarity of a system built to be understood.
