We’ll see! And soon.
I find it *extremely* unlikely that even this court would do something as brazenly and plainly anticonstitutional as upending birthright citizenship, but they’ve been so lawless that I can’t say it’s 0%, which it obviously ought to be.
It's real tough to look at whatever SCOTUS is doing here with birthright citizenship and their complete disregard for the plain text of the 15th amendment re: the VRA and not conclude they want to completely ignore the Reconstruction Amendments. A lawless a rogue court.

Republicans were in favor of it because they’ve always flirted with fascism. Democrats supported it because as a party they have no values other than maintaining their social status.
Forty years ago, 90% of media outlets were spread across 50 companies.

Now, just 5 companies control 90% of the media market.

This consolidation hurts consumers and helps oligarchs. 🧵

America is running concentration camps in order to torture immigrants.
A 27 year old man in end stage kidney failure was told if he wanted his dialysis he has to sign self deportation papers.

“If you want to leave, sign. If not, you're going to die here."

Withholding of life saving medical treatment should be considered torture.

America is not a free country. It isn’t a democracy. I assume people are continuing to pretend it is because it’s just a more comfortable thought.

Not wrong of course. But the Democratic Party is a reflection of it's voters.

People who vote for Democrats do not want Democrats to do anything. If they did, they wouldn't vote for these Democrats, would they?
What sticks out to me is how absolutely unafraid of prosecution this psychopath is. Part of it is narcissistic personality disorder, but it's mostly the perceived weakness of Democrats. Should they retake power, no one expects Democrats to hold anyone accountable.

The Supreme Court is another poisoned political institution. I can’t think of one that isn’t.
December 5, 2025 at 1:15 AM
What a shocking outcome. Who could have possibly predicted this. Hard to believe the Supreme Court decision just happens to benefit the Republican Party. It's just mind blowing. It was such a difficult case to decide. What a Sisyphean task they had to come to such a balanced judgement.

This might be the most pro-immigration statement I’ve read a Democrat make in a year.
Naturalized citizens of our great country are Americans, and they strengthen our communities and economy.

The Republican Party is a fascist death cult. They will kill on a whim.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), to reporters, after viewing video footage of the U.S. strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean on Sept. 2:

"Righteous strikes." "Entirely lawful."

Cueller is the epitomy of a Democrat. Conservative, anti-abortion, criminal. He is the Democratic Party. Pelosi fought for Cueller as hard she could against Jessica Cisneros. Now Jeffries, defending a criminal getting off with the help of a fascist murderer. Your Democratic party.
Jeffries claims the charges against Cueller were "very thin" and says Trump's pardon was "exactly the right outcome"
December 3, 2025 at 9:25 PM
As Trump pardons the despicable Henry Cuellar remember: he is Nancy Pelosi’s special little boy. She protected him many times and wanted him in the party. He is a core Democrat. He represents the values of the Democratic Party.

Who are the pro-immigration Democrats? We know the Republican Party is filled with the stupidest most vile racist cretins the world can produce, but which Democrats stand up and say immigration is good, and the country would benefit with more.

So Democrats folded before even being asked to, which is surprising even to me. You’d think they’d put on a little show first. Oh well. And what are Republicans doing? Statements of concern? An investigation to exonerate everyone involved?

Nuzzi could've written the book of the year had she been open and honest. Instead she's still hiding. She's hiding what she actually did, her motivation, and who she betrayed—from her fiance to the entire country! Unlikely she's capable of understanding what she did and why.

Again, I don’t like getting into Trumpology, but if he legitimately doesn’t know why he got an MRI then he is beyond normal cognitive capabilities. You don’t just get into an MRI machine on a whim. So he’s either broken and has no business being in his role or just a liar and also broken.

Jump in the way back machine and see if we can discern Dem strategy…single Dem here and there makes a show of caring. Makes them look good. Then Schumer directs the party to cave to fascists. Yea I think I’ve figured it out.
let’s look back at what has happened so far

Cory Booker giving a 25 hour speech: everyone loved it, raised his profile

Van Hollen flies to El Salvador and meets Abrego Garcia: everyone loved it, raised his profile

Schumer publicly caved: everyone hated that

just a general note to Dems
i have no doubt that senator van hollen was genuinely concerned for the safety and welfare of abrego garcia BUT ALSO this is what i'm talking about when i say POLITICAL AMBITION. van hollen may well make himself a household name and nationally recognized political figure with this move
