Posted about Irish retailers move to delist McGregor-linked products both here and on X…… the wildly different responses on the two platforms is hugely instructive.

I saw this quote from Bob Dylan today and it resonated. "Saw Nick Cave in Paris recently at the Accor Arena and I was really struck by that song Joy where he sings “We’ve all had too much sorrow, now it the time for joy.” I was thinking to myself, yeah that’s about right."

Speaking as someone who is neither a landlord, a property investor or a land hoarder,
I am going to say no.
Is this another platform for greedy grabbing investor landlords and property speculators and land hoarders to whine about how hard THEY have it??

Am seeing a lot more activity on here over the last week or so. It’s making me think I should maybe come back and embrace it more energetically. Lord knows I don’t feel comfortable doing anything to support the other place.

Today I’m walking off the job with hundreds of my Washington Post colleagues for 24 hours to demand a fair contract. It's the postguild's first strike in 48 years.

This is a public service announcement. The Frasier Reboot is excellent. It’s like taking an old clown suit, unworn for a decade, out of the closet and finding it still fits and is still funny. You’d miss Niles for sure but it’s still great to have it back.
