Yeah it's great to see the Sun and the sunspots but would love to see the Sun in more details like the filaments and prominences! But as you say dedicated solar scopes are very pricey! Would like a company that hires these scopes out! Good business idea there!!

Thanks for your replies and info! I have a celestron telescope and solar filter for viewing the Sun but it doesn't pick up details like this!

If you were to look through an eyepiece on your telescope would you see the detail of the Sun that you've captured on your image? Thinking of investing in a proper solar scope but I'm not great at taking images which is why I use seestar for that as it's simple to use! Thanks.

Cool image! I have the seestar s50 and this is a favourite target of mine! What's the origin like for imaging? It looks like a fantastic piece of kit!

I have the same telescope! You should invest in a solar filter like this or make one using baader solar film to attach at aperture end of telescope and then you will be able to view and image our Sun! It's really good for doing that as well 👍
