I don't really have anyone to talk to about this and seeing no one seems to use this platform, I can just shout into the void.

6.55 and it's 26 centigrade already in Songdo, Incheon. Humidity is 86%, which isnt too bad. Car temperature had a high if 38 yesterday. The fact this normalised is our newest concern.

Try reading one of those so-called classics you read 20-25 years ago.

I read so many books when I was in my early 20s because I thought I should. I never really got some of them. Time to go back.

Does it mater that I had to wait to be in my early 40s to finally get them? To dig it?

Sometimes I think sketchnoting helps me organise my thoughts.

Sometimes I think it's just a stream of consciousness the at least looks nice.

(attempting to plan a conference abstract BTW)

The @nationalgalleryirl.bsky.social in #Dublin is one of my favourite places to visit, and this is only partly because of the art inside.

Slowly digesting Christmas dinner and getting into my 2025 reading. This was lying around my folks house and I figured it was a good place to start. #2025reading

Finished 'AI art is for geebags' the other day - thinking about starting another soon. #drawing

A mental health coping strategy I developed during my doctorate writing days was a kind of #mindfulness drawing. I've since heard some say my drawings are kind of good.

This is one I'm working in now. I'm going to call it 'AI art is for geebags'.

I wonder a lot about the outcomes which could have been. In cases like this, how can foreigners speak out when threatened as an already voiceless minority? December 3 was a clear threat to all of our statuses in Korea which before we may have taken for granted. #impeachyoon

Plenty of talk about life in #Korea in the 1980s and the Gwangju Uprising. #HanKang's Human Acts expertly deals with that.

More relevant to day to day existence, at least from what I've read, is the graphic novel Banned Book Club, which addresses student life.

National History Museum in #Dublin remains a treat for all levels of enthusiasm. From architecture to Christ to commerce to gore, it's got it all!

One of the niche perks of writing on iPad keyboard is the tiny space between keys. I can really pick up some speed. Helps with ticking the productivity box, but perhaps misses the quality box. The key is to edit back on bigger monitor. #writingprocess #iamwriting
