For me, #Shenmue was an unforgettable experience. One that made me realize video games were more than just entertainment. If you were there back in 2000, it’s hard to overstate how mind-blowing it was. It felt like going to another world. There was nothing else like it.

We Shenmue fans manage some wild stuff when we're together on a thing.
Seeing Shenmue being voted as the most influential game of all time by @baftagames.bsky.social... truly mind-blowing.
Such a special game, both to me and to so many other people over the last 25 years. It's about time it get recognised.
