No reason it couldn't have been done 20+ years ago... Thank you big builder lobbies.

Whatever you did, he deserves it.

I see Sean all the time, but his eyesight is so shit he never recognises me.

I can't make it tomorrow... If you fancy going again, I can send you my ticket.

Should be linked to vehicle size / weight.... 1p/mile for a compact / hatch and 10p for a large SUV like an EV9. I'd be fine paying £50 a year to run our Leaf.

Yep, Friday afternoon. You guys?

As an environmental engineer, a bioswale is one of my favourite things. I should get out more.

That is a good one. Their table beer will forever be one of my favourite beers.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Probably 2-5% of that would be other losses, like dust!! PVGIS will generate a graph for you showing the differences across the year. It's more noticeable if you have a steep roof angle, and in the spring and autumn.

East FFS....

The main benefit of a multi oriented array is that you get higher output at start and end of the day. Our W facing panels generate 1.2kW (8am this time of year) before the S facing ones even wake up.
July 16, 2025 at 10:21 AM
Depends on roof angle, time of year etc. easy to model in PVGIS. Model an array at your location and roof angle, facing due south . Remodel facing east. See the difference . 50% of our array is E/W, other 50% S. 35⁰ roof. We lose about 9% of theoretical max output at height of summer.

Charlotte's web looks a little tangled up tho.

I do hope there is a sequel. Belfast deserves a high quality event like this every year.

I was impressed. Yes, the vertical 120 steps required for a pee got tiresome after the first go!

It was rather good. My first beer fest in 7 years. How things have changed (for the better)
May 31, 2025 at 6:50 PM
It's a whole new crowd here since the last abv fest. Only recognised one person so far. Great space. Beer good so far.
