I don’t know why anyone thinks that anything will emerge. Money talks, and it buys the lawyers who will ensure silence.

Unlike Welsh rugby, they’re not in the toilet.

J D Vance will do anything to make his job resemble what Cactus Jack described it as.

It’s a mindset of keeping saying something over and over with the aim of normalising it. It’s disgusting.

For all their attempts at appearing concerned, I’ll bet that every Republican senator would vote to confirm him again.

The Guardian is desperate for clicks if it is platforming this person and his beliefs.

Brolly acts like his sneering disrespect for Kerry doesn’t exist. No doubt he’ll be having his snide again digs as soon championship 2026 rolls into view.

Well said. Liveline presenters have to deal with what the phone line throws at them, but at the weekend Marian Finucane was creative and provided editorial breadth. Unlike now, you didn’t feel like you were listening to the same programme week after week.

Raging about each country as equivalent to the other (both) will not play well for him.

Dick Cheney was an enabler of what is happening today. He pushed the boundaries of executive authority, but was too shortsighted to think what might happen if a person of unfit character were to occupy the presidency. It’s a bit late in the day to be suddenly caring about America and its future.

When the law is being checked and quoted it is confirmation of failing the ethics test and an admission that it is morally wrong to even consider the offer.

No quibble with Ringrose, Hansen is a surprise as is Daly. Darcy Graham is very unlucky to miss out.

I think we know well how it will be managed. It will be the Sammy P comeback tour with Jack and Ciaran Frawley holding (very soft) tackle bags.

Nothing by Charlie Morgan is a must read. If Leinster had won tonight he would be whinging about all of Irish rugby.

He’s the epitome of preening arrogance, but he didn’t know the rules and tried to excuse himself for his shortcomings.
