I finished yesterday in less than a week which is amazing after not being able to read for some time. I loved it and I’m happy that I still have a few books by her I can dive in. Like this one. 🥰

Being alone in places like this one is what helps me to recharge from a world that is often too loud, too confusing or just too much. It’s being in a happy place.

I wasn’t able to read for a few weeks by now, so I thought I try to go back to where it all began. German books. And yeah a book by my favourite German speaking author definitely helps to get back into it. It’s a slow process & it’s only a few pages per day, but I take it. 😌

I know many people struggle with being alone or just sit in silence. Hearing all kind of noises in a non filtered way, means I need silence like the air to breathe. Some times ago I was thinking about silence and wrote down my thoughts on it.

There are so many things we get told to do differently. Like when you need a slower pace, you get told you’re too slow. Or when you feel things deeply you get told you’re too intense. But we are who we are & I know I can’t change these things. And that’s ok.

There are so many things we get told to do differently. Like when you need a slower pace, you get told you’re too slow. Or when you feel things deeply you get told you’re too intense. But we are who we are & I know I can’t change these things. And that’s ok.

This is so true and these people are rare. If you know where you stand with someone, if they are there in all kind of ways and then in the end bring calmness, you know you’re in good hands. Calmness is probably the one thing that amazes me the most. When I feel at peace around someone.

A few years ago someone sent this to me when I was struggling. We have parted ways at some point because the time has come to walk into different directions. But this will be something I’m forever grateful for. Maybe it will help someone else as it helped me.

Honesty and Authenticity go a long way. For me it’s everything when someone can tell me the same thing directly into my face, they tell others about me behind my back. It’s what I always try to do myself. Not always easy but necessary for me.
