That's still not new. SCOTUS has allowed POTUS to identify whoever they wanted as an "enemy combatant" to take away habeas corpus. This decision is impactful, yes, but it isn't a turning point

I think that's a little dramatic. It's not all that different from the 2nd Red Scare. Certainly it's bad, but "most consequential" is ostentatious

I think there already is a cap in terms of the luxury tax. Most teams treat it as a cap, anyways. I'm in favor of a hard cap if it introduces a hard floor. I don't really care about parity, but I think a hard floor would overall raise player salaries
