I loved it too! I read it for an undergrad essay in history of psych and it convinced me to pursue clinical psychology (and the philosophy of persons’ section changed my general outlook on life).

I saw this on my feed and I am working on something somewhat similar, but for metas of sexual dysfunction interventions. Loved it! It’s a great read. Your discussion of different publication bias assessment methods was especially helpful for my own work.

Agreed, in my home province of Ontario (in Canada) the gambling advertisements on sports broadcasts are constant now - with little done for harm reduction. Ontario also recently legalized sales of alcohol in convenience stores, again seemingly for more tax profit without considering harm reduction
