Just a gay guy trying to make others on the internet feel a little less alone.
He/Him
I went to sleep and the Denver Nuggets were down five at the half. I woke up this morning, and went to check the score, truthfully expecting a loss and to then be brokenhearted. Instead I see we blew out the Clippers and Jokic put up an absolute master class performance. 55pts/12rebs/6ast

Let’s go Nuggets!! Feels even better beating the Wolves!

I need someone to analyze Carmelo Anthony’s body language during that Jokic interview. Was he uncomfortable? Or is he ready to finally leave the past in the past?

That game was so upsetting. I know it’s the first game of the season, but it just feels like this team is going to disappoint me and break my heart.

If you find yourself arguing with an OKC fan in the next few days, about the horrible reffing in this series; just know you’re arguing with a group who the majority of, voted for a rapist, felon and someone who wanted to undermine the integrity of the constitution. No critical thinking skills. 😂

Chirut & Baze are definitely in a long term romantic relationship and I love them both so much.
Watching Rogue One after we finished Andor last week. Helps to get my mind in a better place after that gut punch of an end to the Nuggets season.

I then naturally took up the Colorado sports teams as my new teams, after what happened with Donovan Mitchell, and haven’t looked back since.
I moved in with my husband, who was living in Denver, Colorado and absolutely fell in love with the city and the state. Colorado is where my heart is, even though we live here in Florida because of my husband’s work.

I stopped rooting for the NBA team in the state I was unfortunately born in, when the horrid racist fans in Utah, reared their hideous heads, when Donovan Mitchell spoke out against police brutality and spoke up for Breanna Taylor. They revealed themselves to be deeply hateful and unable to change.

Oh yeah, now that sports are done for me until next season, I'm just going to just be an anti-fascism account. Hate Trump/Vance, the Republican Party and RFK Jr and am terrified for this country and my safety as a happily married gay man.

I’m rooting for the Wolves or the Knicks because they both voted against Trump and fascism. Oklahoma, not so much they voted for Trump in huge numbers, same with Indiana.

It’s pretty weird that the MAGA folks who are celebrating Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis and calling him “Genocide Joe” are simultaneously turning a blind eye to what Donald Trump and Netanyahu are currently doing to Gaza and their plan to remove Palestinians from their homeland.

Sports are not good for me. I guess I have these emotions, and need to find a healthier outlet.

Nuggets BlueSky are all just awesome human beings and I am grateful for this community! Thank you! 💙💛

If the basketball gods are real, I hope Thunder are swept in the next round and then the Wolves are swept by the Knicks or Pacers.

You know what. Good on the Nuggets for getting this far. They were doubted in both this series and against the Clippers. Most folks picked the Thunder in 5 or 6.The Nuggets got this to 7 games. Their third best scorer playing with one arm, their second best player playing incredibly when he was sick.

It’s always so funny to me, when folks try and insult someone by saying something like ‘’cry about it’’ or ‘’cry’’. Yeah, sports are a roller coaster and emotional thing, for any fan that cares deeply. I’m glad to feel deeply. That should be something you’re proud of.

LOL. Imagine thinking this. No disagreement, just the equivalent of ‘’yeah but Jokic did too’’. Jokic draws attention almost always to real fouls. Have you seen his arms!?

Dear NBA, I know it looks bad if your supposed MVP goes out in Round 2. Especially with all the other upsets. But if you wanted OKC to advance, just let us know Call me a homer but this officiating difference between SGA and Jokic is ridiculous. #NBAPlayoffs #NBA

This Thunder team is so fake. Fake defense, a fake coach, a fake MVP. A perfect representation of what the @nba.com is now.

I’d say a better stat for you to reference is the 14 turnovers that the Thunder have created by holding players, hitting arms, and getting offensive fouls called on the Nuggets for incredibly questionable reasons.

I don’t want to watch the NBA anymore if this is what the product is now. What is the point.
May 18, 2025 at 9:03 PM
Think about where the Nuggets would be if Caruso wasn’t able to foul players and call it defense…
Think about where the Thunder would be in this series without Caruso and/or Hartenstein. Probably their second and third most important players right now.
May 18, 2025 at 8:55 PM
This is the kind of game that makes me want to quit watching the @nba.com
It’s clear that the refs are allowing OKC to hit, scratch, slap and claw at Denver, and they just allow them to do that and call it great defense. Not doing a good job of avoiding those ‘’Scripted’’ narratives are you guys.

The Thunder's "if we foul the Nuggets on every single possession" approach to defense started eerly, but really began paying off in the 2nd quarter.
