Here are the numbers for Corbin Burnes and Max Scherzer through their age 29 season.
From this point, Scherzer signed a 7 year deal worth $210 million with the Nationals. Burnes should be able to get 8/245–it’s ridiculous he isn’t signed yet.

Obviously the focus is on starting pitching (and rightfully so) but the Orioles still need a solid backup option at catcher. James McCann won’t cut it anymore.
