Mushroom quilt progress! Went to my local quilt store yesterday to spend the day with my sewing sisters! Made great progress and sewed into the evening at home until my featherweight pedal died 😢. I feel as if I've lost my best friend. I ordered a new one last night, hope its here by Wednesday!

Started a new quilt for a gift. Im using my moms precious Kaffe Fausett fabric, she loved it so but could not bring herself to use it. So I'm going to use it!

Got my great grammas machine home, can't get it to make a stitch. I have consulted the manual, watched every YouTube video there was, rethreaded both top and bottom, changed the needle, changed the thread, wound a new bobbin. I'm out of ideas. My husband's referring to it as another boat anchor 😭

My Aunt asked if I would like to have my great grandmother's sewing machine! Of course I said yes, and I'm picking it up Saturday! I believe its a White rotary model # 43.
