Glasgow to Detroit in Y2K. Into film and sci-fi. Most followed on the hell site was #TCMparty #NoirAlley #BMovieManiacs.
A great film with a stellar cast.

Also might be one of the few films you can say the hero single handedly took on the villains.

Often a ministerial double act with Raymond Huntley.

More like clippy.

It looks like your making a movie? Would you like me to star in it? 1. Get me to star in it. 2. Just make a successful movie without me.

Pedants corner here. Might want to edit that one.

A solid 70's/80's of guest appearances on network shows.

I missed the director connection though which he transitioned into in the 90's onwards. Aso directed One False Move.

I could see him see him and Parker bitching about why they're getting screwed by the company with a half share.

There's a 4 minute Joe Dante feature on you tube where he talks about going to see this. In it he says Ridley Scott claims to have never seen it.

An early Jared Harris appearance. Upon a recent rewatch, it was the voice that stood out.

Question is will TCM have to pay a fee to access the library?

Or is their a way to partner with other classic picture providers for a larger streaming service. BFI or Talking Pictures in the UK.

Criterion would seem a natural partner but they already a deal with the other half.

I would really like to see the directors cut for this being released. If it's sitting in storage somewhere, seems like a missed opportunity.

This prompts a question. How great would a Paul Giamatti Loki have been?

It's also currently on the Criterion Channel in Three Noirs by John Farrow. For those without TCM.

Yikes! 30! I always get the impression Jeremy Irons had an absolute blast in this trying to out-Rickman his fellow Brit as the villain.

Directed by Dahl with Hopper and J.T.Walsh. Enough said.

Watched this recently on the Criterion Channel. They have a feature on French Poetic Realism and Gabin features heavily.
