CBS fired Eddie Cantor in 1939, slow-fired Edward R. Murrow in the 50s, cancelled the Smothers Brothers in 1969, and Ed Asner in 1982 – all over politics. Eddie got booted for going after American fascists and Nazi simps like Henry Ford. www.jta.org/archive/eddi...
