You always remind us that SCOTUS is not the whole picture. Lower courts are often pro-democracy. But SCOTUS is destroying due process, equal protection, Congressional power. SCOTUS = pro-tyranny? Do we have any protection? They are violating their oaths.

I agree with Miles Taylor about tribalism. (In this country, often = racism.) I recommend the book "Dying of Whiteness" by Jonathan Metzl. White folks admit voting against their own interests so that they won't be voting with the blacks.
