Whether Brexit makes the UK more shaky is opinion, really. Hard to attribute cause/effect.
Gib has reached a Schengen deal but its political link to the UK is unaffected imho.
NI: Brexit possibly a factor but less powerful than demography, although defo affects economy & NI, GB and IRL politics.

Andrew is right that neither Gib nor FI have ever been part of the UK.
Gyles is partly right: Gib was in the EU (Article 355.3 TFEU); FI was not but had a special relationship with the EU under the Overseas Association Directive 2013/755./1

Blimey. I’m surprised at the vehemence of those saying here that “none the less” is incorrect.
A bad choice, maybe. It’s old-fashioned and so a bit affected today.
I recall reading/hearing somewhere that it’s a bit Etonian, or something. Maybe that’s a good reason for excoriation. 🧐
