I've avoided spoilers and preview chapters, worked way too much this week, and plan to spend a few hours back on Roshar.

Thankyou Brandon Sanderson and all the team at Dragonsteel!

Blue card of the day!

In case you can't tell by my profile photo, I adore this cheeky little bastard. Objectively bad, at worst spending 2 mana to draw your opponents 3x the cards you are drawing, I Love making him live up to his evil potential.

Blue card of the day!

Bident of Thassa

I love this card because it not only encourages an aggressive, wide creature playstyle, but the other ability can catch people out sometimes, especially if they have utility creatures they want to keep alive. Multi typing does make it easier to remove though

I missed a blue card of the day yesterday because I was busy getting my butt kicked playing commander! So, today we get two cards that I've loved to use together.

Jace's Erasure and Psychic Corrosion

Absolutely brilliant cards that can slowly but steadily erase your opponents library.

Blue card of the day!

Foil

Interesting card, free counterspells are always worth considering, but this is one of the most niche. It involves going down 3 cards(including an island) for one, so is only really playable in mono blue decks that generate overwhelming card advantage.

Blue Card of the day time!
#magicthegathering

Urza, Lord High Artificer

This card is clearly pushed into oblivion

It's a commander with built in mana advantage, a big body, and card advantage. As someone who runs it at the head of a near CEDH(no £2000 budget soooo) deck, he is ridiculous.

Time for the #magicthegathering Blue Card of the Day!

Today we have the classic, a card I consider to be fundamental to the game and as fair as a card gets.

Counterspell, a personal favourite:
Deals with threats ✅
Requires decision making ✅
Can win or lose a game ✅

Who else loves this card?

As the resident blue mage, I think I'll start posting a #magicthegathering blue card of the day.

Today we have Danny Pink
Draws cards ✅
Hits people ✅
I am trying him out in Sauron, the Dark Lord, and I've seen him used in Bumbleflower, but would love to hear other uses for this legend!

I've been brewing a Sauron, the Dark Lord EDH deck. Making heavy use of the Nazgul, getting the big boi out early, and reanimating some of the big fun LOTR bad guys. Looking for some solid interactive pieces that don't deviate too far from the theme.
