For those of you who are not familiar with the Jack Russell terrier and only know them for their cute appearance, the JRT stands out as the most relentless, and effective eliminator of barnyard vermin.

Because if he did, he would have seen that most big productions are filmed in the US, as well as other countries - some in multiple locations! Same for post-production work. It's been that way for DECADES.
So good luck trying to square that circle, Donny.

It's going to take an amendment to the Constitution to correct this, and any more affronts to democracy. Come mid-term elections, Democrats must be prepared to embrace some new voices in order to garner the attention of a younger and disaffected part of the electorate.

Thank you, and congratulations on this herculean effort! Here's hoping that you've ignited a spark that sets a movement to save America on fire!

Well he's all about crypto now so I guess he doesn't care about stocks tanking.

Having to bail out "Too big to fail" banks in 2008 wasn't bad enough, now we're on the hook for crypto? What could possibly go wrong in an unregulated market run by people with obscene amounts of money as well as investors who believe they know the risk in what is essentially a giant ponzi scheme?

Anytime we pull attention away from Trump is a win. Especially if, God willing, Dems have a cogent narrative to demonstrate where Trump’s administration is going off the rails and will/are going to hurt Americans in multiple ways.

If they get vocal during the speech, Repubs will respond. Getting into a shouting match on the floor is a losing proposition- it only highlights their weak position. Walking out a few at a time is a passive distraction, but will yield a lot of media attention, thus diminishing Trump's spotlight.

Ditto - you raise valid concerns. Yes, pro-people and pro anti-Trump aren't the same thing, but I think being both is possible.
Dems are in a weak position with a minority in both houses. They have no power in government. How they respond to Trump’s SOTU as it happens is tricky.
