Because a tired dog is a happy dog is a well behaved dog.
Their needs are met. Their energy is spent. So they have nothing occupying their beautiful heads than rest and love for the rest of the day.

Although Cherry hasn't shown any signs of distress in storms before, when this one began with a boom she started a few known stress behaviours- chewing her paws, spinning in circles and bum scooting, which are a result of her life before she came home to us a year ago. 🧵⬇️
