D&D acted like a capitalist business run by a huge corporation, which they are. Overthrow the capitalist system or everything, literally everything, will become nothing but a rental.

I looked over Daggerheart and what turned me off was their "card system" for improved abilities. When I buy a game, I want a game I can play. I don't want to feel dependent on special dice, special cards, etc. It irritates me, especially in the digital age where so many purchases are PDF.
