YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD.

They're writing the show with only hard-core, internet lurking fans in mind.

And it shows.

It's gonna be bad for business if they keep treating casual fans that way. They won't get that season 5 they're counting on.

And the worst part is we have ABSOLUTELY no fucking idea what the overarching plot is. None. Zero.

Who is the Big Bad? No clue.

Yeah sure, if you watch old interviews maybe you can guess. But casual fans AREN'T DOING THAT.

You have to set shit up IN THE SHOW.

The thing is... my opinion is *not unique*.

I'm not a hater. I'm a FAN. And this season was a fucking MESS in terms of narrative and pacing and set up.

It just WAS. I can't make it what it isn't.

But after two seasons we're left with... basically no meaningful changes. Nothing to even tell us what's going to happen going forward because this show *refuses* to set *anything* up in a satisfying way.

And no amount of "trust the process" can fix this.

There is no way to win because I will never be anything more than an "abrasive woman" to these people.

Why are they consistently giving me reviews on my personality when they can't find flaw with my work?

I hope that's the case, because if they try to make her some kind of sympathetic villain it's going to fall very flat for me.

Moreover, no offense intended to any fans of her character, but she had zero redeeming qualities in season one. Which is fine! I liked her! But trying to make her sympathetic by saying she was in love with Adam doesn't do it for me. She's still a dick.
