In 1934 my Grammy was born. The daughter of an illegal immigrant, she went on to become a schoolteacher and childcare expert. She married and had five kids including my mom, then moved to FL to help my mom and dad raise me. Immigrants make America great.

When the Depression hit in 1929, patrons at my pradziadek's corner store often couldn't afford their essential foods, so he let them buy on credit. Once the Depression ended and the shop miraculously survived, he never collected the debts. Immigrants make America great.
