🇺🇸 Trying to stay calm and grateful for countries standing up for democracy❣️ and standing up to our wanna be dictator. Half of us don’t want this.
His speech gave me hope and eased my current feeling of doom for our country. I don’t know how long the Republicans will allow this madness to go on, but it is comforting to know a leader of reason is rising and gives hope for the world. Thanks Canada!!

Your courage is inspiring and lifts me up to stand strong against the terror my own administration is imposing on its citizens in Minnesota and across the country. I wish the $$ they use to terrorize us would instead be used to help liberate you. Thank you for your strength. ❤️

As they should. Receiving SNAP benefits are for anyone who doesn’t earn enough to feed their family. There are people who don’t qualify and have a hard time feeding their family. No one in this country should go to bed hungry.

It could be worse. You could be living here. We are so grateful to Canada for not caving in to this insanity. I’m exhausted and it’s only just begun.

I wish our news reporting would include views of Ukraine that you show us beside the views of the destruction typically shown as a stark reminder of what’s at stake.

I have found that negative responses to friends and family don’t help change anyone’s mind. I just explain (in a calm matter of fact way) why I choose not to support people or places that are destructive to others because it only perpetuates their behavior. There are plenty of other choices. Explore

I appreciate all that you do as a senator and know that you try to keep our spirits up, but the day the President joyfully signs a bill that gives the finger to everyone in our country except the rich makes it hard to enjoy a picture of you and your husband having fun.
