I miss it!!! Call me cringe but I miss it and yes the game had a short lifespan but more popular ones will disappear as well and there’s nothing we can do. Genshin will disappear no matter how ubiquitous it is right now and uh I don’t think that should happen

And like. Yes piracy etc etc but you can’t really pirate a live service game and still have it function like intended I’m so god damn sad about Nier reincarnation every fucking day

Video games fuck me up so bad because the ones with the highest chance of being preserved are really obscure indie games in the grand scheme because these are the ones that are owned by one (1) person and allow players to own them easily

I did not like the movie, book or the game referenced really but if I only cared about preserving things I myself deem worthy I would be a hypocrite
