I’ve been tiptoeing around them out of what I see as caution, perhaps it’s cowardice. I don’t know. I’ve lost so much sleep over the thought that someone I considered a friend could be complicit in sexual abuse.

I was right to cut her out of my life. I used to be in her and Laura’s community. Since April 2024 I’ve been trying to piece together what actually happened and what to do about it, gradually distancing myself from them because I was afraid of being targeted for calling them out.
