This game was all I would talk about to my friends for a solid month while I was getting 100% achievements for it. Utter insanity and I loved a good chunk of it. Favorite part was definitely how it turned the one character I felt destined to hate during the demo into my absolute favorite.

The last book series I was enjoying recently is an older one. Read through a lot of the Dragonriders of Pern series for the first time during breaks at work over the last couple years. I liked how it scratches both the fantasy and sci-fi parts of my brain without it just being "techno-magic."

Final Thoughts: I enjoyed my time with the game. Favorite routes were Retsnom and Killing Game routes. Darumi's the best, even when she's at her worst, but especially when she's at her best. Some of the final endings for those routes are probably my canon for the story.

Combat is really fun but kinda caps out, ESPECIALLY if you do the Serial Battles route early, like me. After doing that route, about 90% of the battles in the game become skippable, which is kind of a bummer if you were enjoying it. Also, capping out some characters trivializes combat.

I went into the game with a lot of expectations for 100 endings that felt like definite endings and yeah, no, you don't get that. Plenty of "Wrong Decision, Game Over" choices pad out that trip to 100, but they still do A LOT more you'd normally get from a game like this.

I've discovered that he's really good at writing individual moments or scenes that I can watch highlight reels of indefinitely if I don't remember how it fits together.
